Get set up in ten minutes
Your listings live in a Google Sheet you own. Cobro reads it, matches it to your clients, and shares what you choose with other agents and the public market. Create your account at app.cobro.com.my/agency/signup (7-day free trial, no card needed), then walk these five steps.
Copy the listings template
Open the Cobro Listings Template → and Google will offer Make a copy into your own Google Drive. The copy is fully yours - we never get edit access.
The tab is named Portal Tracker - keep that name (or tell Settings your own tab name later). The columns match what Cobro reads: Condo Name, Unit No, Area, Type, Sell, Rent, Rooms, Size and friends.
Already keeping a sheet? You can point Cobro at it instead - just line your headers up with the template's.
Share the sheet (view-only) and link it
- In Google Sheets: Share → Anyone with the link → Viewer. View-only is enough - Cobro never edits your sheet.
- In Cobro: Settings → Listings source → paste the sheet link → Link sheet & import.
- Your listings appear on the board. Edits in your sheet flow in automatically every morning - or hit Sync now for an instant refresh.
- Owner names, contacts and unit numbers are never shown to other agents - and Settings → Data Vault can encrypt them on your own device before they ever reach our servers. Keep the recovery code safe; losing both password and code makes vault data unrecoverable by design.
- Sold a unit? Set its status to Sold in the sheet (or flip it in the portal) - it drops off matching, the pool and the public market.
Add your WhatsApp number
In Settings → Account, fill in your WhatsApp number (e.g. 60123456789). This is where daily match alerts and co-broke requests land - without it there is no Co-broke button on your pool listings and no alerts.
Record client requirements under Leads, in plain words - "cheras condo ff 3r below 800k" works. Every morning Cobro re-matches open leads against fresh listings and WhatsApps you the new hits.
Tick listings into the pool and the public market
On your Listings board every row has two ticks:
- Pool shares the listing with other Cobro agents - they see the unit, price and specs, never the owner, never the unit number. Co-broke requests reach you on WhatsApp with the exact listing link.
- Public publishes it on cobro.com.my/properties - your free shop window, with owner details stripped and photos copied to fast hosting automatically.
Enter your REN number once in Settings and your pool listings carry a verified badge - checked against the LPPEH public register.
Invite a fellow agent - you both win
Settings → Account shows your personal referral code and a one-tap WhatsApp share. When another agent signs up with your code, you both get 14 extra free days. More agents in the pool means more stock to match your clients against.
