Is Cobro a CRM?+
Yes, and it does the matching for you. Type a client's brief the way they said it, and Cobro reads the budget, rooms, area, furnishing and move-in date, ranks your stock and the co-broke pool, and flags near misses. Save the brief, and you get a WhatsApp alert when a new unit fits. Every lead keeps its stage, in the same app as your listings, the co-broke network and one-click listing marketing.
What is co-broking, and is it allowed in Malaysia?+
Yes. Co-broking, also called co-agency, is when the agency holding a listing works with another registered estate agency that brings the buyer or tenant, and the two share the fee as agreed beforehand. Only registered estate agents may charge fees, so RENs co-broke through the firms they are attached to.
How is commission split in a co-broke deal?+
There is no fixed legal split. The two agencies share the fee in the way they agreed beforehand, so put the split in writing before any viewing. On Cobro, each co-broke request reaches the listing agent on WhatsApp, and they accept or decline it in the app.
Can other agents see my owner's contact or unit number?+
No. The pool shows condo, area, specs, price and occupancy only. Owner details and unit numbers never leave your account, and with the Data Vault they are encrypted on your own phone or laptop before upload - Cobro cannot read them either.
Do I have to stop using my Google Sheet?+
No. Your sheet stays the master. Cobro imports it and re-syncs daily. Edit the sheet, Cobro follows. You can also flip a unit to Sold from the portal without touching the sheet.
How do co-broke requests reach me?+
On WhatsApp, with a link that opens the exact listing in your account. You answer Accept or Not available in the portal; declining pulls the unit from the pool for you.
What is REN verification?+
You enter your REN number once. We check it against the LPPEH public register and your listings carry a verified badge. Other agents co-broke with confidence.
What happens when a unit is sold?+
Mark it sold once - in the sheet or the portal - and it disappears from matching, the pool and the public marketplace.
Can I take my data and leave?+
Yes, any time. Settings has one-click exports of your listings, leads and co-broke history as Excel-ready files. Your data is yours.
